Civil engineering is one of the oldest engineering discipline over the world. Civil Engineers are going to play an important role in accelerating the pace of socio-economic development.
The Department of Civil Engineering started its journey at HSTU in 2014.The departmental academic session has started from February 23, 2015 and with an enrollment of 50 students along with 10 international students for the first batch.
The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B. Sc. in CE) degree starts with foundation courses in basic sciences, mathematics, humanities and social sciences with core courses in Civil Engineering including Geotechnical & Geo-environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering , Materials Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Wastewater Engineering and Coastal Engineering.
We are dedicated to provide innovative and high-quality opportunities for our students to acquire the fundamental knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for entry and success in the professional practice of Civil Engineering fields.
