Welcome to the Department of Agronomy
The department of Agronomy is one of the largest and oldest department of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur including/ having 10 members ( 4 Professors, 2 Associate Professor, 2 Assistant Professor, 2 lectures), 1 administrative officer,3 supporting staffs. I encourage you to browse and find detailed information about our undergraduate programs, our faculty members, their research interests and broad range of activities underway in the department. I believe the department is the most forward looking, vibrant and dynamic department of HSTU. Agronomy is designed for students interested in the agronomic aspects of international agricultural development by providing skilled and proficient graduates in agronomic field. This department is committed to provide an outstanding educational experience for its students in professional and personal growth. It also works for the upliftment and reformation of cereals, oil seeds, pulses and other agronomic crops in aspects of sustainable agriculture. It offers courses for BSc., MS PhD programs and research facilities are available in the department for field and Laboratory works.
