Welcome to the Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Science at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University, Dinajpur. As one of the leading institutions for veterinary education in Bangladesh, our faculty is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service to the community. The Five years undergraduate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program at HSTU is designed to meet nationally recognized academic and professional standards. Our curriculum integrates modern veterinary science, clinical practice, animal production, public health, epidemiology, and One Health concepts to ensure our graduates are fully prepared for today’s challenges in the animal and health sectors. At FVAS, we prioritize innovation, ethical practice, and hands-on learning. Our laboratories, clinical facilities (hospital and farms), and field training programs are continually upgraded to provide students with a dynamic and practical learning environment. Vission & Mission
2. Promote Research & Innovation at HSTU: Strengthen research capacity in animal health, zoonotic diseases, epidemiology, biotechnology, One Health, and livestock production to support Bangladesh’s agricultural and public health priorities.
3. Expand Clinical & Diagnostic Services: Offer quality clinical care, laboratory diagnostics, and field-based veterinary services through HSTU’s facilities, contributing directly to the wellbeing of animals and the needs of farmers and the livestock sector.
4. Advance One Health Leadership: Position HSTU as a key contributor to the One Health movement by encouraging collaboration among veterinary, medical, environmental, and public health disciplines.
5. Develop Skilled Graduates for National Development: Prepare veterinary graduates who will serve Bangladesh in diverse roles—clinicians, livestock officers, researchers, academicians, and policymakers—with integrity and professionalism.
6. Uphold Ethics, Welfare & Sustainability: Ensure that all academic, clinical, and research activities at FVAS maintain the highest standards of animal welfare, environmental care, and professional ethics.
