Welcome to the department of Dairy and Poultry Science at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur-5200. This department is serving as a center of academic excellence, cutting-edge research, hands-on academic training and influential community outreach on two distinct disciplines: Dairy Science and Poultry Science since its establishment. Our department offers 8 (eight) courses on Dairy Science and 6 (six) courses on Poultry Science to the undergraduate students of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and also provides MS and PhD degrees on above distinct disciplines as a pioneer of livestock production sector. The department continuously nurtures both undergraduate and post-graduate students through a competent team of faculties, advanced research and well-equipped laboratories to produce next generation of researchers, leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers and farm managers, who will reshape the future of sustainable agriculture both nationally and internationally.
The vision of this department is to be a premier hub of excellence in higher education and research as well as to assure global food security, nutritional sustainability and scientific innovation.
