- Effect of seed priming and foliar application of plant growth regulators on seed germination, seedling vigour, and yield in Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.).
Funded by: IRT, HSTU, Dinajpur
Position: Co-PI
Description: To evaluate effect of priming by using different hormonal priming treatments on germination characters, seedling growth and yield of wheat seeds (var. BWMRI GOM-2). Four hormonal priming treatments will be applied viz. P0- Unprimed (Control), P1- Gibberellic acid (GA3) @200ppm, P2- Naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) @50ppm, P3- Salicylic acid (SA) @ 200ppm.
- Development of nutrient rich high yielding barley variety grown under rainfed drought stress conditions
Funded by: IRT, HSTU, Dinajpur
Position: Co-PI
Description: To evaluate barley germplasms for nutrient, yield and yield-related traits grown grown under drought stress conditions in HSTU campus, study DNA fingerprinting of barley germplasms, genotype-environment interactions for yield and nutritional traits through multiplication trials and develop nutrient rich high yielding barley variety through registration procedure.
